Check, Check, Check it out!

Well I've been preparing for this show for a few weeks now. I have SO MANY more prints of the chalkboard mats for this show then the last (the last was just a test show). Since the last show (Ft. Meade) was kind of a bust (for everyone), and I sold 4 chalkboard mats, I called that a success!

This show there will be more then ever! I will have mats of all sizes (mostly 13" x 17" - regular size). For the Young Men:
Camoflauge
Sports print (baseball, basketball and football all on one print)

For the Young Ladies:
Fushia Animal Print
Blue Animal Print
Princess
Fairy (Small)
Dora the Explorer
Girl Bug (lady bug print)

For Both!
ABC Print
Birthday Print (candles) (large and regular size)
Dog Print (large only)

Ok I need more ideas for boy prints... anybody? Anybody? I thought dinosaurs, but I can't find a print that I like. Should it be realistic dinosaurs or cartoon dinosaurs? I was thinking of purchasing the cars print again too....

We will also have memory boards (and will make custom boards),

memory boxes,

photo frames,

tooth fairy pillows, and stuffed toys.

Please come visit our booth, we are a corner booth2nd row back when you arrive! The show is conviently located off of 32 and is very close to the Piney Ridge Parkway neighborhood in Eldersburg, MD.

Spring Fling Craft Show in Carroll County on May 5 from 8am - 3pm. Located at the Sykesville Fire Departments carnival grounds (located along the west side of route 32, approximately 2 miles south of the route 26 and route 32 intersection). http://www.freedomdistrictlions.com/spring_fling.htm

Etsy Sells... I'm Blowing up!

Not really, BUT 2 weeks ago I sold a Fairy Chalkboard Mat on Etsy. My first sale! This Fairy print is going like crazy! I must buy more... needless to say buying material is addictive to me. I go to the reminat section of Joanns and Walmart and I've found great sales. Joanns material is about 50% off and Walmart is about 20-50% off. Needless to say Walmarts prices are cheaper and they tend to provide me with better materials to choose from (fun children prints). My latest finds below... Dora the expolorer and this awesome Sports theamed print!

I have trouble picking out and finding boy prints. I guess it's because I LUV the girl prints and they are selling! SO Right after my first etsy sale, I had Girliemonster email me and she ordered 7, SEVEN chalkboard mats for her childs BIRTHDAY PARTY! Thank God I've been working for weeks to up my stock for the May 5 show! BUT now I only have 4 mats left... BUT I have new exciting prints! So I'm happy!

THANKS GIRLIEMONSTER!!!

My Crazy Month of March

Well I started out March by going to NY for my dad's 50th Birthday!Happy Birthday Daddy!

Of course we HAD to stop by FAO Schwarz because I'm a HUGE kid at heart!

Here's my husband, actually "He's Batman!"

Next weekend,
I'm off to Baltimore for my aunt's 40th birthday party!
We started at Babalu Grill...

Hello Ricky!

Isn't my mom the cutest?

After a super Yummy dinner, we went to Howl at the Moon

in the power plant a few doors down.

I LOVED thier jello shots in a syringe.
And I sung with the Piano Players! Luved it there!

Then we moved on to Dance the Night Away!

The following weekend, me and my friend Jenna flew to Charleston, SC...

I Love Bamboo! This is at the Magnolia Plantations in SC.

We flew into Charleston SC on Friday and then drove to Savannah, GA for St. Patty's Day!!!!

I'm holding a pina colada in a coconut!
We did WAY too much stuff to mention...

On the way home we got Stuck in Charleston at the airport for HOURS! Booo!!!

The next weekend, I was busy making Stars and setting up for my Best Friend's Baby Shower!

These were just samples. They were SO HARD! They were soo small and hard to sew (think 2"). Her theme for the baby's room is Cowboys, so the final product was cowboy blue!!
I can't wait to welcome Baby Moody to the world

MAY 1st COULDN'T COME FAST ENOUGH!!

Ft. Meade Craft Show

I atteneded the Ft. Meade craft show this past weekend. The tables were $150 for two days 9-3. I ended up sharing a table with two other girls, so $50 for two days wasn't bad. Sales and attendance were really low the first day and even lower the second. This was the first show since September 11 occured, so we're not sure what happened to the people. The organizers thought the turn out would be much greater! I probably won't do the show again....

My most popular items that people seemed interested in (and purchased) were my roll up chalk board mats. Especially the fairy print, and then the tooth fairy pillows were really getting attention.
I met a lady who had material in her car for $1 a yard, so I bought 8 yards of different prints. She let me know that animal prints were really popular with teens now, so I purchased a blue and green print. I wish she had pink, but she didn't. BUT my sample board was pink animal print and someone took that one right off my hands. I can't believe what sells! I thought animal print was out of style, but I guess not!

I also received some great ideas for kitchen memory board prints and such! I'll keep trucking!

I'm looking for another craft show in either No VA or Maryland for the Month of June... possibly the 23-24 or 30th. Let me know if you know of a show!!!

My next two shows after the May 5th show are on Septemebr 29th in Middletown for the Heritage Festival and October 27 at the Urbana Fire Hall!
